BIM STANDARDS

ISO 19650-Aligned Information Management

Structured information delivery helps project teams coordinate models, manage changes and prepare reliable construction and handover data.

EIR & BEP

Review exchange information requirements (EIR) and align appointed-party workflows with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP).

TIDP & MIDP

Support task information delivery plans (TIDPs) and master information delivery plans (MIDPs), with named responsibility and exchange milestones.

CDE & Revision Control

Apply the project information standard, agreed naming, status/suitability codes, revision control and CDE review/authorisation processes.

Model QA & Clash Reviews

Federated model reviews and issue registers, with design resolution and acceptance by the accountable discipline or contractor.

Level of Information Need (LOIN)

Use ISO 7817-1 level of information need (LOIN) principles where required; legacy LOD/LOI terminology only where explicitly defined by the project.

COBie & Handover

Prepare and validate specified asset information and record models against agreed exchange requirements; COBie only where expressly required.

Brahmasoft describes project workflows aligned to ISO 19650 principles. This page does not state that Brahmasoft holds independent ISO 19650 or ISO 9001 certification.

ISO 19650

Why ISO 19650-Aligned Information Management Matters

Clear information requirements, controlled exchanges and accountable model delivery can help project teams reduce avoidable rework and improve handover quality.

Clarity

Agreed information requirements, responsibilities and deliverable schedules.

Coordination

Shared model and issue management processes across disciplines.

Traceability

Structured naming, revisions, approvals and CDE workflows.

Handover

Consistent asset information and documentation for downstream use.

We can assist main contractors and specialist subcontractors with ISO 19650 readiness reviews, documented workflows, responsibility matrices, delivery plans and evidence preparation. “Tier 1” and “Tier 2” describe supply-chain roles, not ISO 19650 certification grades. Independent certification bodies determine eligibility and award any third-party certification; Brahmasoft cannot guarantee an audit result.
